Open Short Video Collection (OSVC)
For testing purposes, we have released the Open Short Video Collection (OSVC) in its initial version 1.0. OSVC is a general-purpose video collection containing videos from various types and visual styles. The 200 videos were manually selected to represent a wide range of possible video content found on the web. All videos of this collection are all released under a creative commons license making them usable for a large variety of research tasks, especially for evaluating video retrieval, recognition, and/or classification systems. The videos are all encoded H.264 and use an MP4 container. Their duration spans from 30 seconds to 30 minutes.
